# Cloud Storage

> A private personal cloud drive. Files stay in a sealed private bucket and every download link expires in 60 minutes.

Cloud Storage is a personal cloud storage web application: upload, organize, rename, download, and delete files from a clean dashboard, plus an admin panel with user management and analytics.

## Key facts

- Private object-storage bucket (Cloudflare R2); no public URLs by default.
- Downloads via signed URLs expiring after 60 minutes.
- JWT sessions in httpOnly cookies (1-day expiry); bcrypt-hashed passwords.
- Per-user storage quota (default 1 GB), batch ZIP download, cursor pagination.
- Email verification + password reset via email tokens.
- Admin: role-separated dashboard with user ban/unban, delete (cascades), and analytics.

## Honest limits

- Uploads validated by extension, MIME type, and magic bytes; per-category size limits (images 10 MB, videos 100 MB, audio 20 MB, documents 50 MB).
- Sign-in is rate-limited against brute force.
- No public file sharing: there are no permanent links by design.
